Two weeks ago, I visited Marc for a nine-day one-on-one retreat in Portugal. I got in touch with Marc through a WhatsApp group.

After first sending an email to request information about the retreat, we had a telephone conversation that immediately felt right to me, so I knew I had to do this.

Once you arrive at Marc's place, you immediately feel the tranquillity of the surroundings. Nestled between the mountains and surrounded by the wonderful scent of the trees, it's a wonderful place to come home to yourself.

During the time I spent with Marc, I gained valuable insights and we were able to trace and address old blockages, which brought me a lot closer to myself.

Among other things, I had an energetic singing bowl treatment, which I found to be a very pleasant experience.

In addition to being a great colleague, Marc also knows all the best restaurants, the most beautiful villages with their stunning old buildings, the walking and cycling routes, and the most beautiful viewpoints.

Marc offers a wide range of services and really takes the time for you. I also liked the fact that there was no fixed daily schedule, so everything could happen at the right time.

I look back on a very enjoyable time, for which I am grateful to Marc. I would definitely do it again myself and highly recommend it to others.

Marc is a very empathetic therapist who gave me a pleasant and insightful hypnotherapy treatment. Attention, compassion, asking the right questions. Superb. The demonstration with the cushions was also very special. Marc placed unconditional love from the universe on a cushion. He then used a kind of divining rod to show that there was strong energy in that cushion and none in the cushion next to it. He then transferred the energy from one cushion to the other and showed another measurement. This was to illustrate the fact that he works with energy. It was very special to experience this up close. But the most important thing for me was that important issues were addressed in the light hypnotic state, which enabled me to take further steps forward.

Last week, I had a hypnosis session with Marc. I went there without any expectations, thinking I would just see what happened. And wow, what happened! It's almost impossible to explain how special it was. You really have to experience it for yourself if this resonates with you. Because everyone experiences it in their own way, of course. But I'll try to share my experience with you anyway: First, Marc gave me a warm welcome with a delicious cup of tea and some treats. We chatted and exchanged experiences while enjoying some lovely, relaxing music. I had sent Marc an intake form in advance so he could read up on me. The form contained questions such as: Do you have any physical complaints? Major health problems? Allergies? Addictions? etc. Before we started, we went through this form and then I was allowed to sit in the relaxed chair with my feet on the ground for grounding and a beautiful stone on the floor. I had to hold my hand in a certain position and look at one point. As soon as my hand touched my head, Marc took my hand and I was in hypnosis. Many people find this scary because they think they will lose consciousness, but I did not experience it that way at all. For me, it felt like a very deep meditation; I was still conscious and could still talk and move. It felt very calm and good. When I was deep enough in hypnosis/meditation, Marc took me through the maze of my past. He asked me questions that I could answer with yes or no or by moving my finger. When I encountered unpleasant experiences, I was allowed to pull out the weeds and replace them with beautiful flowers. With his pleasant, soothing voice, Marc guided me through the hypnosis and accompanied me. This felt very good and I never felt anxious. Some of the events that came up could be quite intense. But because Marc remained calm, I was able to breathe calmly through my experiences. It was a truly fantastic experience. When I came out of the hypnosis, it felt as if I had come out of a deep dream and had experienced everything very intensely, but I had turned the negative experiences I had had in my past into something positive. And that feels so liberating, because now I am no longer held back by certain beliefs I had from the past that turned out to be completely untrue. The heavy energies that I always carried with me from the past were gone. This is also part of the reason why I have fibromyalgia. I feel a lot lighter now, so this hypnosis session has helped me both mentally and physically. I am very grateful for this experience and can really recommend it to everyone. I now go through life with more confidence and self-assurance, and all thanks to Marc and the wonderful hypnosis. I wish this for everyone. Do you wish this for yourself too? 

Last Monday, I had the opportunity to experience hypnosis treatment with Marc. My request for help was to gain more confidence in driving. Due to fluctuating blood sugar levels and two accidents, one of which was a single-vehicle accident, I suffered from anxiety and panic attacks. After an intake session where Marc explained what we were going to do, I was under hypnosis for over an hour and a half. During the treatment, unresolved issues from the past came to the surface and we cleared them up together. Now, a week later, I can say that my anxiety about driving has virtually disappeared... in fact, I am finding more and more moments where I enjoy driving. I now realise that I had unconsciously limited myself by not driving further than 20 minutes from my home. It was a wonderful journey. Thank you, Marc 🙏🙏             

What an experience. Today I had hypnotherapy with Marc. It was a very good decision. We worked on letting go of family issues, and yes, I feel happy, confident, and am jumping for joy. I now know exactly who I am allowed to be, and yes, I am allowed to be here. Thank you, Marc, I highly recommend it. To be continued. As promised, I would now like to share my experience of the second hypnotherapy session. Our journey today was through a maze. When you start, you carry a full backpack with you. Step by step, bit by bit, you throw away piece by piece. And at the end of the journey, you carry such a beautiful story with you, that feeling, the beautiful images, you cannot put into words, it is something you have to experience for yourself. So definitely do it, you will be completely reborn. Marc, thank you for this beautiful journey 🙏 🏻❤️😇Wow!             

Highly recommended! Healing on a deep energetic level. Marc gave me a truly mind-blowing transformative session. He guided me skilfully, quickly getting to the core of my blockages and allowing me to energetically distance myself from them. It felt like a kind of ‘Great Reset’, allowing me to now function from a new vibration at a higher frequency. It's incredible what can be achieved in an hour with issues I've struggled with my whole life. I feel invincible, I have gained an unshakeable confidence that I will really achieve everything I have long dreamed of, that I can create anything I want from a playful, light energy, like a butterfly fluttering from one colourful flower to another, carried by the wind. At the same time, I also feel an increased clarity and an even stronger focus on my mission. That is, no longer losing myself in all kinds of fun things that pique my curiosity, but only doing what benefits the world the most; what I can really make a difference with, my unique contribution, what I am good at and what makes me happy. This awareness had been dawning on me for a while, but now it is no longer purely based on willpower but on surrender and trust. Even my children have been given a new impetus because they no longer have to connect with the karma from my family system that had me in its grip, and there is no longer any need to carry things for me (as children do for their parents). Wow!             

Marc did a house clearing at my home and a personal clearing on me because I started sleeping very restlessly after changing bedrooms. My house has always been energetically busy, but now it was becoming annoying for my peace of mind. After the house clearing, I can now sleep well again. And my house feels calmer. My cat is also reacting strongly to this change. During my personal clearing, I felt all kinds of things happening in my energy. My body made movements of its own accord. There was a deep relaxation. For a moment, I was the observer of my body and feelings. I saw the word “Temptation” with the feeling “Be careful not to think negatively. Stay focused on what you want. Don't try to snack on unhealthy foods out of emotion.” After that, I experienced an inner coldness, which later disappeared. It helped me a little further in the sense that I started taking up new activities that feel good. It seemed as if I was stuck in a certain way. Things weren't flowing anymore. I couldn't think of anything else to make me feel better. I feel peace in my home again and a better energy within myself to do new things. Thank you very much for this, Marc.          

It is very worthwhile to have a session with Marc. After a reset, Marc helped me during a hypnosis session in which I gained wonderful insights into the events of my childhood and how they have shaped my life so far. And I was able to let go of them in a pleasant way. This has brought me more peace and balance, and I now have a much better understanding of what triggers me and how I can deal with them. Marc was recommended to me through mutual acquaintances, which was quite a coincidence. He came into my life to help me with various things. I had him cleanse my home and practice, and it is incredible to see how many things are changing for the better. I am working less and less and earning more (meaning we are helping more and more people). The practice has grown, and I initially noticed a change in myself at home. Instead of wearing comfortable trousers and a T-shirt at home, I started dressing more femininely again. My feminine side is back, the feeling, and the intellectual side is less dominant. Life becomes easier when you see that things come your way to help you move forward. Despite all the misery in the world, my life is getting better and better. Recently, I experienced a family constellation day led by Marc. I find the calmness Marc radiates reassuring. He expertly and sensitively gets to the heart of the problem. A lot happened that day. Everyone was open and felt safe. In my own constellation, I also returned things to where they belong so that I no longer have to carry the burden. That literally makes me feel lighter. Recently, I had the privilege of experiencing a special family constellation day under the guidance of Marc Roelofs. His calm and empathetic approach created a pleasant, connected group in which everything could be felt, experienced and expressed. I was already familiar with family constellations, both as a therapist and in my private life, but on this day it was remarkable how deeply everyone went, both for themselves and for others, to discover who they really are. The thrill and intense impact can still be felt physically in my body, my emotions feel soft and calm. More things have become clear in my family system and my role in it. Thank you, Marc, for your very thorough, gentle and safe guidance. So much happened that day. Everyone was open and felt safe. In my own constellation, I also gave things back to where they belong so that I no longer have to carry the burden. That literally makes me feel lighter. Marc energetically covered the earth ray in my house and further treated my entire house to bring the energy to the top level it is now at. And all of that remotely. I feel much more peace in my home. The energy of my home has improved considerably after Marc's treatment. I am very happy that I had Marc do this. Ultimately, it all benefits me. I recently had a particularly beautiful and profound family constellations day, under the pleasant and highly skilled guidance of Marc. There was a group of seven people and everyone had the opportunity to ask a question. The calmness and gentle strength that Marc radiates created a safe environment, which made me feel so welcome and allowed everything to be there. Some pretty heavy themes were brought up and worked through, and it was so special to experience the deep connection with each other (as a group). I also tackled some intense pain and was able to heal parts of myself on a deeper level; a level I hadn't been able to reach before. I also became aware that I was carrying a heavy burden that was not mine. I was able to give this back to where it belongs, and that gave/gives me so much space. Marc touched me in a loving way, which broke something open in me and allowed it to flow. I am therefore intensely grateful that I was able to participate on this day; it has brought me so much. Thank you, dear Marc, for your wonderful energy, your gentle strength, your skilled and loving guidance, and the safe environment you so beautifully create within the group. Much love,             

Yesterday, I experienced a family constellation for the first time, set up by Marc Roelofs - Energiewerk in Verbinding. Marc also has a Facebook page. After I had asked my question about what I keep encountering in my life, the constellation began. I was allowed to kick things off. I was so curious to see what would come to the surface, where was there still pain, where was there still so much anger, in short, where were the unprocessed pieces in the deeper layers that still needed to be healed? And what a revelation, wow! The accumulated tension in my back was gone by the end of the day. I felt so much lighter shortly after the constellation. But something was still bubbling up. On Marc Roelofs' advice to lie down on the floor and really feel it again, a lot of anger came up, and a lot of sadness. And there are no coincidences! Because just as I was lying there, my daughter called (I called her back later) to say she had a terrible stomach ache. So you see, it really does have an energetic effect. Once she got home, her symptoms disappeared. Marc does a fantastic job, and I will definitely make another appointment with him. He is a very calm man who guides you very well.
